Waterfall in the forest

A Natural Beauty

Bridal Veil Falls is one of those places that makes you feel like you've stepped into another world. Located about 20 minutes from Heber Springs in the Ozark National Forest, the waterfall gets its name from the way the water cascades down the rock face, looking like a bride's veil.

When to Visit

The waterfall is at its best after a good rain. During dry spells, the flow can slow to a trickle, but it's still a peaceful spot to visit. Spring and early summer are usually the best times to see it in full force.

It's a short, easy hike from the parking area, making it accessible for most visitors. Bring sturdy shoes, as the rocks can be slippery near the falls.

Other Nearby Attractions

While you're in the area, there are several other natural spots worth checking out. The drive itself is beautiful, winding through the forest. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it.

After the Hike

All that fresh air works up an appetite. When you're done exploring, head back into town and stop by for a warm meal. We're just a short drive away.
