Around Town

Spring Park

The historic heart of Heber Springs. A quiet spot to relax and learn a little about our town's past.

Where It All Began

Heber Springs got its name from the seven natural mineral springs that flow right here in Spring Park. Back in the late 1800s, people came from all over the country to drink the water and "take the cure." The park was the center of a bustling health resort.

Today

Today, Spring Park is a peaceful, shaded spot near the courthouse square. You can still see the historic springhouses where the water flows. It's a great place to take a quiet walk, read a book, or just enjoy a sunny afternoon.

Picnic Perfect

If you're looking for a place to eat your takeout, Spring Park has plenty of benches and open spaces. Grab a plate of tacos or a burrito from us, walk over to the park, and enjoy your meal under the trees. It's a simple pleasure, but it's one of our favorites.

Don't Miss the Square

While you're in the area, take a stroll around the historic courthouse square. There are local shops, a few cafes, and plenty of friendly faces. It's the heart of Heber Springs, and we're proud to be just a few blocks away.
